Join comrades in Echo Park as we canvass for DSA member and CD13 candidate, Hugo Soto-Martinez! Stick around afterwards to keep the party going for a picnic in the park – we will buy lunch from street vendors (bring cash!) who have been excluded by Mitch and the city’s criminalization policies. We can only build community power if we are talking to our neighbors and are getting to know each other.

If you’ve never canvassed before: we will provide you with a thorough training, pair you up with someone experienced/confident, and make sure you are comfortable going out. Don’t worry — we got you!

Find us at Echo Park Lake at the Park Ave and Lemoyne entrance.

You will need:

• • a fully charged smartphone
  • water, sunscreen, a hat (optional, but a good idea)
  • a mask — N95, KN95, KF94 strongly preferred!
  • a tote bag/backpack (optional, but useful!)
  • cash for street vendors*

*If you are unable to bring cash, no problem! We are happy to buy lunch for any folks who still want to attend.
