Event Description and Agenda

DSA-LA is now considering three additional candidates for the chapter’s endorsement in the 2022 general election: Los Angeles City Council Candidates Bryant Odega (CD 15) and Eunisses Hernandez (CD1) and State Assembly Candidate Fatima Iqbal-Zubair (AD 64).

The Candidate Forum will begin with introductions from and open Q&A with the candidates. Following the Q&A, we will take a short break before transitioning to a closed deliberation session of the DSA-LA Membership. In the closed session, the Electoral Committee will present summary briefings on the races and districts, make a recommendation on endorsement, and DSA-LA members in good standing will debate reasons for or against supporting these candidates. All members will receive a ballot for consideration of all three candidate endorsements following the forum.
