DSA-LA condemns the Supreme Court Ruling today in Virginia v EPA.

Today is yet another infuriating and disheartening day as the conservative majority Supreme Court has eliminated EPA’s most effective tool for reducing climate pollution from existing coal- and gas-burning power plants. This decision will make it more difficult for the EPA to protect our families and communities from climate-forcing emissions from dirty power plants and will embolden right-wing extremists in their efforts to attack federal agency authority to safeguard public health, safety, and welfare.
