DSA-LA is now considering two additional candidates for the chapter’s endorsement in the 2022 primary election: United to House LA, Ricardo Martinez for La Puente City Council, Rocío Rivas for LAUSD School Board District 2, and Estefany Castañeda for Centinela Valley Union High School District.

The Electoral Endorsement Forum will begin with introductions from and open Q&A with the candidates and ballot measure representatives. Following the Q&A, we will take a short break before transitioning to a closed deliberation session of the DSA-LA Membership. In the closed session, the Electoral Committee will present summary briefings on the races and districts, make a recommendation on endorsement, and DSA-LA members in good standing will debate reasons for or against supporting these candidates. All members will receive a ballot for consideration following the forum.
