Recently, two Central Valley women were charged with murder and imprisoned for experiencing stillbirths. While charges were ultimately dropped, AB2223 will ensure that no one in California is investigated, prosecuted, and imprisoned for their pregnancy outcomes including miscarriages, stillbirths, and self-managed abortions.

AB2223 will be heard in California Senate Appropriations Committee the week of August 8th. Help us phonebank DSA supporters in three Los Angeles districts to support this bill.
