The United Front Strategy – DSA-LA SFV Marxism Reading Group

For the third session in the series on The Decline of Neoliberalism and the Rise of American Fascism, we’ll take a look at writings by Clara Zetkin and Leon Trotsky where they advocated for a united front strategy against the rise of fascism in Europe.

By Clara Zetkin we have The Struggle Against Fascism and Resolution on Fascism from 1923, and from Leon Trotsky we have a compilation called Fascism: What It Is and How to Fight It from 1931 to 1940. There are two discussion podcasts that summarize the pieces.

A collaborative doc with the text and Zoom connection information will be provided. Please RSVP for access.

The discussion group is open to all, including DSA members outside of the San Fernando Valley and non-DSA members.
