Only a mass movement of organized workers can win big for the entire working class, so how do we help grow the labor movement, and make it fight against a system designed to deny the dignity of labor? When organized labor was most powerful, socialists fought alongside workers on the shopfloor and forced employers, and the state, to make big concessions. More recently, movements of rank-and-file union members have reformed and revitalized parts of the labor movement. But to win big, we’ll need to support these efforts to rebuild unions and organize millions of unorganized workers.
- How can workers turn the tide that has for decades decimated organized labor in the US?
- How can union and non-union workers help rebuild a powerful labor movement that fights to change society?
- What should the role of socialists be in revitalizing the labor movement?
