The Hollywood Labor subcommittee of the Democratic Socialists of America, Los Angeles (DSA-LA) proudly invites you to “Anticapitalism for Artists!”

The series will be hosted from March 19th through March 21st, 2021, and is open to all members, new members, and the general public!

Addressing the theme of “How do we get capitalism out of art?”, the event will offer an opportunity to build community among like-minded artists who want to connect a radical class education to transformative politics. Through a series of panels, discussions, teach-ins, and workshops, the organizers look to inspire a new generation of artists to create worker-led answers to the perils of art under capitalism. The close collaboration with an array of organizers and artists over five events will provide an array of theoretical and practical possibilities toward building this new, better world.
