Monthly Housing & Homelessness Committee Meeting
At the last meeting members decided to include some political education as a portion of every monthly meeting to hone our analysis and further develop our politics on the housing/tenant terrain. Join us this week to discuss the article “No Ship Will Come To Save Us” and the initiative to expropriate housing in Berlin! Each month we will do a different reading and suggestions are welcome.
We will also be discussing further developments in the DSA-LA SHOP proposal as well as the new ETOC (Emergency Tenant Organizer Committee) building in the national Housing Justice Commission.
Lastly, we will have report-backs from Streetwatch, NOlympics, and other groups.
