At the DSA-LA Annual Convention last month we passed several important new resolutions that will expand and strengthen our work around housing and homelessness issues — including one resolution to prioritize the movement for Black lives and one to create neighborhood organizing bodies focused on tenant organizing and mutual aid. We’re calling a special strategy-oriented meeting to look at these resolutions and develop our next steps for implementation. Whether you’re a regular attendee of our tenant organizing circle, active in our Street Watch initiative, engaged in tenants’ rights campaigns, or a new member looking to get started, we want everyone’s perspective as we reflect on our last year of organizing and plan for a more liberatory future!
