The Mutual Aid Subcommittee DRAMA will be reading and discussing “The Combahee River Collective Statement” written in 1977 by the Combahee River Collective. This article will discuss topics that surround contemporary Black feminism, the Collective’s beliefs, the struggles of organizing Black feminists, and Black feminist issues and practices.
