Join the Political Education Committee for our May Meeting! Our 2023 Convention may have come to pass, but the Chapter is now left with three democratically selected priority resolutions that have political education components! Whether it’s the external campaigns to power mass transit in LA or empower tenants, or the work of developing a system of co-governance with our electeds, we need all hands on deck. Ahoy mateys! If you want to get involved in helping to develop political education materials related to these resolutions, from classes, printed materials, relevant movie screenings, in-person events, and more, make sure to join us at this meeting! We’ll also be talking about our current Night School (learn more about our May 9th class here) and opportunities to help out with that.

Whether you are a regular member or someone who has just joined, we encourage you to join us and be part of integrating political education into our collective work.
