The DSA-LA Political Education Committee is hosting our November meeting online so those across LA County can join and contribute in our educational work to spread socialist thought across LA County. At this meeting we will be discussing two topics:

The first will be to discuss how our committee can support our chapter’s priority campaigns on tenants rights and public transit, and what materials we can use to help educate members and the public about our demands.

The second topic will be to discuss the ongoing violence visited upon the residents of the Gaza strip by the Israeli government, and what work we can do to support the demand for an immediate ceasefire. To help with this work, the committee has selected two resources we welcome members to review prior to the meeting. A short discussion about both materials will be facilitated before discussing committee business.
