Housing costs have been outpacing inflation for the greater part of the past thirty years. This has led to the displacement of people from their homes and onto the streets or out of the city. LA City Council is considering amending the RSO, its law governing rent control, for the first time since 1985. This presents us with an historic opportunity for strategic intervention.

Join DSA-LA on Sunday, April 28th at 12:30pm for a presentation on the fight for a better RSO and an analysis of the opposition we face. We will discuss what our organization can do to help win better rent control and build tenant power, how you can get involved, and a timeline of upcoming events.
