Tens of thousands of hotel and hospitality workers across Los Angeles are on strike for a hospitality workforce housing fund, better wages, healthcare benefits, pensions, and a safer workload.

Over the last few weeks, as Unite Here! Local 11 members went on strike, they were met with acts of violence, at times by their employers.

During the pandemic, hotels received $15 billion in federal bailouts while they cut jobs and guest services like daily room cleaning. In 2023, hotel profits in Los Angeles have exceeded pre-pandemic levels, yet the workers who labor to create this profit continue to struggle to afford a place to live in the neighborhoods where they work. Enough is enough. Show your solidarity and tell the hotel bosses that all workers deserve to earn enough to live near where they work!
