DSA-LA is proud to stand in solidarity with United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA) and Service Employees International Union Local 99 (SEIU 99) as they go on strike on March 21st! After showing up with OVER 2,000 FREE TACOS at the UNITED FOR LA RALLY on March 15th, we’re ready to keep the tacos flowing!
Funds raised through the Tacos for Trabajadores will be used to compensate local taquerias and other street food vendors to run a taco stations and distribute food to strikers on the picket line. Any leftover funds will be held by the chapter to support potential future labor fights in Los Angeles! Please take a moment and contribute – every dollar helps!
