Worker power is essential to the fight to win a Green New Deal.

Join us on Saturday, April 15th  at 11:00 a.m. in-person at the UTLA Building for some political education and discussion focusing on unions and efforts to advance climate justice through the labor movement.

The event will have a case-study presentation on the Green Bans the Australian Builders Labourers Federation did in the 1970s, and will have a panel discussion with comrades from the International Brotherhood of Electric Workers, Engineers and Architects Association, Jobs to Move America, and United Steelworkers.

DSA-LA’s Green New Deal for Public Schools campaign is focused on building relationships and partnering with labor to create healthy green schools in Los Angeles, and we believe organizers that are serious about campaigning for a Green New Deal must do the same. Join us to learn how.
