Holy heck, with all the revelations about how OVERTLY racist city council is, Los Angeles city politics is in tumult. So we want everyone to keep volunteering for Hugo – let’s make sure he beats Mitch so we can have a city council that works for the people, and not against it! HOWEVER, we have some other things to discuss at this month’s meeting such as protocols for non-citizens to join DSA-LA as well as how to create a divestment campaign for private prisons. 

So please, join us OUTSIDE at the Highland Park Brewery in Chinatown (1220 N. Spring St., Los Angeles)*. Have a drink, some tater tots or maybe a fancy salad, and let’s talk about what we can do about the immigrant rights struggle right here in LA!

*There’s free street parking nearby and we will be in the outdoor patio area. Proof of vaccination is required of all guests 12 and over for entry into the brewery.
