For LGBTQIA+ History Month DRAMA, the Mutual Aid Media Club, will be having readings and media focused around gender, it’s definitions and interpretations, and the intersectionality between gender, sexuality, society, culture, and Marxism.

Our next meeting will be based around the following three videos; What is Gender by subMedia, What is Homonationalism? by Novara Media, and Gay Marriage Victory Is Not About Equality by The Real News Network. Each video gives an unique leftist insight on the difference between equality and equity versus liberation, along with the nuances of emancipation that Queer folx and communities struggle with, and how the fight for these rights has been used and co-opted to hinder the progress that many people are fighting for.
