Join your fellow working class Angelenos for our August branch meeting! This will be our first meeting since the July chapter meeting, where we voted to approve three transit demands to focus on: fare-free transit, expanding bike lanes, and determining what community services to provide at Metro stops.
We’ll also hear from delegates who attended DSA’s National Convention in Chicago to learn more about our national priorities for the next two years (national convention occurs once every two years, as opposed to our annual local convention) and how we can build stronger campaigns and gain more policy wins right here in Los Angeles.
As always, we’ll have coffee, doughnuts, books, and more! Bring a friend–and some sunscreen!
